The primary objective of this project is to increase the quality of vocational education and training in Kosovo, in the field of
textile/apparel manufacturing, specifically for women and young girls, by strengthening the labor market relevance, hence
enhancing the employability of the students (i.e. VET participants). The project will result in a well-trained Kosovo workforce,
equipped with theoretical and practical skills, who will ultimately obtain accredited and internationally recognized
qualifications, to be employed in the textile processing and apparel manufacturing industry, preferably in Kosovo and/or abroad.
Status in progress – project under implementation.
Our VTI (UNI BB LLC) has directly influenced the improvement and development of the textile sector throughout the
country (Kosovo) and has increased employment opportunities, especially for women; where more than 90% of the participants
trained and certified thus far have found gainful employment or self-employment. From 2016 to 2022, we
have trained and provided accredited certifications to 615 students/trainees and 90% of them are currently employed / self-employed across the sector of textile in Kosovo.
