Strengthening Cooperative Principles of Education in the Vocational Context

Project details

In order to achieve the goal tocontri bute to increasing the business volume of the company in the textile industry and tourism and hospitality, we have decided on the following strategy which includes infrastructure and equipment, personnel, cooperation mechanisms in the implementation of programs and support programs. At the beginning of the project, we will implement a group of activities related to infrastructure works and with which we will achieve the conditions for carrying out cooperative education according to the plan and needs of SMEs.

The reason for this is that, according to the joint agreement on the educational implementation plan, and based on the needs of SMEs, the students of the first grades initially perform practical classes in the school premises. This will relieve companies with basic knowledge and skills and introducing students to the work process and machines. The company’s demands are justified because practice has shown that at this level of education, students mostly separate the mentors and the production plant from production, the most defects are achieved on machines and materials, and the cost benefit analysis showed that the effects in relation to the time invested, the occupancy of the machines, the costs training, and taking into account opportunity costs insufficient. The aforementioned problems are also the biggest factor cited by employers as a reason for not participating in dual education. The solution is to bring the school’s facilities and equipment into a condition that meets the conditions for high-quality practical classes in the school for students in the first year as a preparatory phase and an important control point for the acquisition of knowledge and skills, i.e. inputs so that students are ready for learning at the workplace in the company.

Result1: School premises and equipment meet the conditions for carrying out cooperative education according to the plan and needs of SMEs.

Result2: Improved capacities of the school and partner companies for conducting cooperative education

Result3: Established work method and standardized operations in the implementation of the cooperative education program

Result4: Developed support mechanism for students for career guidance and employment after graduation

Improvement of facilities and equipment to meet the conditions for high-quality practical work classes expected by the companies
