Improving dual education in secondary schools in Serbia in the field of trade

Innovation of teaching facilities and teaching methods using modern equipment, teaching materials, and digital tools and applications in cooperation with companies.

The overall goal of our project is to increase students’ employment opportunities including an easier transition into the labour-world. To achieve this, teaching facilities and methods of working with students will be innovated by use of modern equipment and the supporting teaching materials, digital tools/applications.
This will obtain numerous benefits for the students:
-Contact with a real work environment where they may acquire, improve and develop professional competences and gain professional experience
-Opportunity that through the on-the-job learning find out whether that what they learn or what they will do in the future, corresponds to their interests
-Opportunity to continue their education under the conditions prescribed by the law
-Developing entrepreneurial competences in order to enable them to start their own business
-Developing communication skills, cooperation, teamwork and responsibility
-Opportunity to develop a work ethic
-Developing awareness of the importance of health and safety, including health and safety at work
-Increasing the possibility to develop innovativeness and creativity
-Developing of self-confidence, expression of their own opinion and independent decision-making.
