With the support of the Regional Challenge Fund, the school modernises its training workshops, specialised classrooms and teaching approaches to better reflect labour market needs and modern, digitalised workplaces.
Upgraded training facilities provide students with access to state-of-the-art industrial equipment, including modern machinery for mechanical and electrical engineering, CNC equipment, VR-based training simulators, and advanced training sets for pneumatics, hydraulics and mechatronics. Digital teaching tools and new pedagogical methods support more effective learning and skills development.
The project strengthens work-based learning opportunities for students and expands upskilling and reskilling options for adults, including non-formal training courses and recognition of prior learning. Increased emphasis on career guidance and counselling supports learners in developing employability, professional competencies, and up-to-date digital and sustainability-related skills.
Cooperation between teachers and in-company instructors deepens through joint training, mentorship and closer involvement of employers in curriculum development. This partnership improves training quality, increases youth employability, and supports businesses by providing a steady pipeline of job-ready graduates trained in line with current industry standards.
