The project covers implementing three cooperative training programmes. The mutual objective of the three offered CT programmes is to aid the development of advanced competences for the future production industry, enhancing its competitiveness. The analyzed skills are one of the crucial ones for the current Industry 4.0 initiative, so the aim of the programmes is to follow this trend and implement the core competences throughout the modules in the CT. Although each of the CT will be conducted independently, the combination of the gained skills represents the foundation for the workers of the Factories of the Future. Each of the programme will be described separately as follows:
CT1 – The trainees for “Production supervisor according to the needs of Lean Industry 4.0” will be trained on the learning and smart factory concept for Industry 4.0. The different modules will simulate different operations, but not limited to assembly, simple production, warehousing, cobot manipulation, transportation, color inspection, quality control, KANBAN system, augmented reality for better visualization, systems for Poka Yoke and similar.
CT2 – The programme “Operator of CNC machines for metal cutting” defines and delivers the necessary knowledge and competencies for handling CNC machines for conventional and unconventional cutting of
metals, as well as the practical skills for manufacturing a workpiece and controlling its quality, in accordance with the technical-technological documentation. Completion of the program enables independent performance on all stages of the technological process of making metal products on a CNC machine: preparation of work, use of
software tools for modeling the part, correct selection of tools and equipment, operation and control of CNC machine while ensuring it works properly, manufacturing of metal workpiece with quality control.
CT3 – The programme „Operator and maintainer of advanced injection molding machines“ focuses on the skills a worker needs to set up a mold on an injection molding machine and independently follow and optimize the production process. The trainees will be taught with procedures on how to prepare a new tool and mount it on the machine, set all the production parameters (cycle times, material and mold temperatures, injection pressure) and start production. The programme will go over various molding defects that can occur during production and the participants of the course will be able to identify them and correct them accordingly in order to ensure the quality of the manufactured plastic parts. Additionally, the program also covers the maintenance procedures and activities that need to be performed on the injection molding machine and tools.
